The Shard

At 310m high and 72-storeys the Iconic Shard on London Bridge is Europe’s tallest building and first vertical city. Designed by Renzo Piano, it comprises a 26-floor office complex, six world-class bars and restaurants, a 19-floor five-star hotel and the UK’s highest viewing gallery.

Constructed by Mace from 2009 to 2012, DGP were privileged to deliver three primary packages of work: Builders Work, Logistics and Security Management and Station Ancillary Work.

DGP were also contracted by Chorus to provide services during the fit-out contract and similarly worked directly for Shangri La Hotel.

At the peak of construction, DGP’s team extended to 130 members.
