Birmingham International Airport

The project at Birmingham International Airport entailed an extension of the North Terminal and upgrade to the South Terminal baggage handling facilities (Xray machines and conveyors), with the project scheduled to be completed over two years (prior to Covid-19, with the baggage system upgrade being completed whilst the terminal extension was suspended.

DGP Logistics were then appointed land and airside Logistics Services Contractor in September 2019 to deliver a broad range of essential site services.

Following the initial March 2020 Covid-19 national lockdown, DGP Logistics were subsequently appointed to work directly for Birmingham Airport Ltd (BAL) following Mace standing down from site. DGP helped BAL through to completion of North Terminal works and major works to the South Terminal baggage area, including new conveyors.
